Guest Teacher, Friday, March 12, Geoff Miller, chair of the Reher Bakery Restoration Project will give a teaching during service beginning at 7:30pm.

 

Informational Meeting on our Mission to Cuba: Thursday, March 25 at 7:15pm.  Find out about our exciting Mission to Cuba scheduled for December 7 - 14, 2010.

 

Sixth Annual Women’s Seder Saturday March 27, beginning at 5pm with a Pot-luck Vegetarian/Dairy Dinner without chametz (bread products).  This year we will share recipes for charoset, please email your favorite recipe to carylbc48@msn.com at least a week in advance, so we can distribute all the recipes at the seder and feel free to bring a sample with you to the seder.

Double Header: Spring Zing & Knishes & History!

 

Zingalong with us at the “Spring Zing” our Social Event of the season! On Saturday night, April 24th at 7pm, we will turn our Social Hall into a lively bistro, singing along with our own Cantor Bob Cohen and Sabrina Ferguson, Mezzo-Soprano of New Paltz.  Enjoy snacks and desserts in a convivial atmosphere, singing “zongs” from the American Songbook ---- including numbers from the Yiddish Theater, Musicals, Tin Pan Alley, & a little shpritz of tunes from around the world.

 

Knishes & History: a tour of the Lower East Side with Steve Romer Sunday, April 25th, 2010. COST: $45 per person (does not include lunch).  Join us on our luxury motor coach to NYC, reserve your seat, send in your donation today.  Hurry, only 6 seats left! 

 

Celebrate Lag B’Omer with us in Rhinebeck on Saturday evening, May 1st at 7:30pm for singing around the fire, location information will be available on our website & through the main office.

             Lunch with the Rabbi

The next Lunch with the Rabbi is March 16th at noon. 

This is an opportunity to share a hot meal, warm adult community and dialogue with Rabbi Romer and stimulating adult learning at each meeting.

Book Club – Our Book Club meets approximately monthly, usually at 1:30 at different members’ homes, contact the office for location information for each meeting.

Gan Keshet Y Rainbow Garden Preschool – Weekly, Monday - Friday from 9am to 12pm

Bingo is held every Wednesday - Doors open at 5, cards sold at 6, game starts at 7.

Kabbalat Shabbat service begins at 7:30pm weekly at Temple Emanuel.  Every first Friday of the month is our potluck veggie/dairy dinner, beginning at 5:30pm followed by early Kabbalat Shabbat service at 7pm.   

Religious School & Lay-Led Adult Education held most Sundays during the secular school year from 9:00am to 1:30pm.

Saturday Morning Services are 10am every Saturday, from September through June.

Sisterhood meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm, nonmembers are welcome.

Temple Emanuel’s Rhinebeck Satellite Service  Our satellite service in the Rhinebeck/Red Hook area will resume in the fall with a new schedule & new programming.

Tone With Sloane -Tuesdays & Thursdays are getting better! Kick off your shoes and get down on the floor for... "SPA" (Stretch/ Pilates/Abs) Weekly Beginner classes every Tuesday at 10:30am & Thursday at 2pm.  Weekly Intermediate classes every Tuesday at noon & Thursday at 12:30pm.  Introductory Fee: $10 p/p per class, discounted packages available. Classes open to women & men, wear comfortable athletic clothing & bring a small towel, yoga mat & a block (if needed).

Tot Shabbat, our toddler service, is celebrated monthly on Saturday mornings from 9:00-9:30 & is followed by a Kiddush of juice & cookies.

Young at Heart is alive again!  Meeting at 1:30pm on the third Thursday of each month, offering complimentary dessert with a new program each month. (No meetings January through March)

Rabbi Yael Romer is holding several new classes and looks forward to an educational year with you.
